Pétalo Dress

The Pétalo Dress began with a single orchid petal. Held in the palm of my hand, its sculptural shape looked almost like a tiny dress—and from that quiet moment of inspiration, the silhouette of Pétalo began to take form.

Designed with a fitted princess-seam silhouette, the dress features a defined square neckline framed with Anel Verna’s signature hand-pulled linen yarn edging, drawn directly from the fabric itself. The clean, structured neckline beautifully contrasts the organic softness of the petal-inspired design.

The silhouette follows the body before opening into dramatic petal-shaped side slits. Beneath, a short lining skirt is revealed through each opening, creating an unexpected play of shape, movement, and proportion.

Feminine yet sculptural, Pétalo reflects my admiration for the natural architecture of an orchid—its softness, its form, and the effortless beauty of every petal.

A signature piece and the hero dress of the collection, Pétalo is where nature, design, and imagination become one.
